[photo release] NAPC helps out Parola fire victims

Secretary Domingo F. Panganiban, lead convenor of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), distributes bags of groceries to Parola residents at the Delpan Sports Complex in Tondo, Manila. Panganiban was instructed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to help more than 300 families who were left homeless after a fire that broke out after the celebration of New Year in Parola compound. Panganiban also conveyed to Ugnayan Laban sa Kahirapan counterparts - the Luzon Urban Beltway, the Rotary and the Flying V to take part in helping the adopted communities in Metro Manila.
